In the training of the designer there are learnings that are only refined in the exercise of projects and tasks that require an orientation focused on how to do them, from the simple processes of assembly, cutting, folding and gluing, to mastering skills greater than they are observed and put into practice through learning by doing, which are not taught in any particular subject. This research emerges from a largely technological context in which tacit knowledge is reviewed, a personal knowledge derived from human practice that is present within the discipline of design. The proposal identifies and retrieves knowledge from teachers and students, it is centered on a descriptive, qualitative and quasi-experimental study in which experience in handling materials and tools is shared with various testimonies to consider the importance of manual work, work collaboration and the specification of aspects such as quality.
