HERNANDEZ LIMONCHI, María del Pilar y IBARRA URIBE, Luz Marina. Work/family reconciliation: Challenge for Mexico. Iztapalapa. Rev. cienc. soc. humanid. [online]. 2019, vol.40, n.86, pp.159-184. ISSN 2007-9176. https://doi.org/10.28928/ri/862019/aot2/hernandezlimonchim/ibarrauribel.
Mexico has not ratified the Convention 156 of the International Labor Organization on equality of opportunity and treatment of workers with family responsabilities, which could influence the design of policies and appropiate measures of work/family reconciliation, favoring female employment and the incorporation of men in care and housework. Therefore, certain measures were selected in order to analyze whether they place women at a disadvantage compared to men, instead of creating effective equality of opportunities and treatment between them, such as maternity, paternity and breastfeeding leave, part-time work and remote work.
Palabras llave : reconciliation measure; family leave; work schedule flexibility; family responsabilities; co-responsability.
