Resumen
RIVERA-HERNANDEZ, Jaime Ernesto y SAMAIN, Marie-Stéphanie. Where has Aristolochia tricaudata (ARISTOLOCHIACEAE) gone? New record of a critically endangered species in Oaxaca, Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2011, vol.82, n.1, pp.281-285. ISSN 2007-8706.
During fieldwork in San Juan Teponaxtla, Oaxaca, 3 individuals of Aristolochia tricaudata Lemaire, a very rare species threatened with extinction, were observed with flowers and fruits. Although this species is present in many botanical gardens, fruits have never been observed. Conservation actions are urgently required to protect this species in the wild.
