From the perspective of memory and representation, the article reflects on some contradictions affecting the sphere of research and its dissemination due to the scant attention paid to the study and incorporation of images in the construction and transmisión of knowledge. It chims the visual source is a source of research and a means to disseminate results, and proposes a new rationality of research based on inter-disciplinary work leading to trans-disciplinary practice.
