CASO NIEBLA, Joaquín; PONCE CEBALLOS, Salvador; GARCIA CABRERO, Benilde y DIAZ LOPEZ, Carlos David. Validation and Optimization of a Questionnaire for Assessment Tutor's Competencies in Higher Education. RMIE [online]. 2023, vol.28, n.99, pp.1031-1054. Epub 26-Ene-2024. ISSN 1405-6666.
The purpose of this study was to obtain evidence of validity and reliability of the questionnaire for the evaluation of the tutor's competences, through the application of procedures that included unidimensionality analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and a set of techniques indicated for optimization of the measurement of complex constructs. The results indicate evidence of acceptable validity and reliability that allow it to become a measure useful for its large-scale application in the Mexican context. With respect to optimization stage, a reduced scale is supported that contributes to the simplification of application processes. The importance of the evaluation of the tutoring and its contribution to the formative process of the student body with instruments reliable and that allow an appropriate institutional instrumentation.
