INFANTE JIMENEZ, Cherlys. Pedagogical Proposal for Using Virtual Laboratories as a Supplementary Activity in Theoretical/Practical Courses. RMIE [online]. 2014, vol.19, n.62, pp.917-937. ISSN 1405-6666.
Among the digital tools designed for educational purposes, virtual laboratories are outstanding because of their visual impact and animation features that simulate a real laboratory environment. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using virtual laboratories as a supplementary activity in theoretical/practical courses. The analysis led to the generation of an implementation proposal that includes simulation to create a setting of blended learning (b-learning): a mixture of classroom and virtual activities that promotes independent study and collaborative work. The resource has great potential that most teachers have yet to address, although it is available online free of charge.
