Using the theoretical and methodological frameworks of Political Economy of Media and Culture, the ruptures and continuities in the structures of the press, radio and television in Panama are identified. This article also analyses the concentration degree of these industries using three different schemes, leaving room to make comparisons of each media and to contrast the Panamanian media context with the one in other countries.
