Epub 16-Abr-2020. ISSN 0185-2698. https://doi.org/10.22201/iisue.24486167e.2019.165.59170.
The article shows the viability of a homemade instrument to measure the self-perception of university students on their level of skills in informational and communicative competencies for the production of academic works of a scientific nature. The purpose of this study is to help assess the effectiveness of the classroom methodology used by teachers, as well as to raise awareness among students of the need for training in these areas for their full professional development. The sample consisted of 172 primary first-grade students of the Sagrado Corazón School (depending from the University of Córdoba) for the period 2017-2018. The different analytical strategies used to determine its reliability and validity have been entirely consistent results and have established the basic elements that define the success in the development of these academic works.
