The purpose of the article is to analyze the changes derivatives from the 2014-2015 political -electoral reform, for which is considers it as an important reform result of the negotiated gradualism between the main political forces and the government, put in frame in the mechanism titled Pact for Mexico, and discussed and approved within the federal Congress, which established a new normative frame, modified the structure and central authority assignments regarding the subject (IFE), with the purpose of creating a new election national system, which is subject to discussion. The reform also defined new and different citizen participation methods, since it included several statutory laws pending from the previous adjacent 2012 reform.
