Resumen

ZARAGOZA CABALLERO, Santiago. Cantharoidea (Coleoptera) de México. VII. Nuevos Lygistopterus Dejean (Lycidae: Calochrominae). Acta Zool. Mex [online]. 2003, n.89, pp.01-16. ISSN 2448-8445.

Eight new Mexican species of the genus Lygistopterus Dejean are described, compared and illustrated viz: Lygistopterus chihuahuensis sp. nov., L. chiapensis sp. nov., L. bajacalifornicus sp. nov., L. huautlaensis sp. nov., L. chamelensis sp. nov. L. guerrerensis sp. nov., L. jalisiensis sp. nov. and L. morelensis sp. nov. Lygistopterus rubripennis (LeConte), L. nobilis Gorham, L. sulcicollis Gorham and L. haemopterus Gorham are redescribed and new distributional records are given. A key to separate the known Mexican species is included.
