In recent years, self-regulatory systems have added to its function of regulation of business interests with the task of consumer protection. This has led to the creation of a new class of code of conduct Business to Consumer, with a philosophy of customer protection, containing rules and commitments of doing business that raise consumer protection above legal levels code of conduct Business to Consumer provide important benefits to the regulation of private consumption, contributing effectively to improve the protection of certain groups of consumers with market presence, such as underage consumers or women consumers, in coexistence with traditional regulatory instruments.
