The objective of this article is to analyze and compare by means of the functional method, the similarities and differences of the Mexican Constitution and the Venezuelan Constitution, about the requirements that are needed to occupy the office of Constitutional Judges, as well as the how designation procedures are carried out. The above, in order to demonstrate that the Mexican State has minimum requirements to hold the aforegoing position, as well as a designation procedure in which there is no opposition when the members of the ternas are not suitable, in contrast to the State Venezuelan, who has a series of requirements of greater demand and a better designation process.
