The different violence manifestations in this country are part of a big and complex scenario that requires a multidisciplinary approach to propose and execute prevention strategies. The reproduction of violence that tears apart social and affective networks and, consequently, takes part in the subjective constitution of people, has a direct impact on the political usages of suffering. Thus it is necessary a multidisciplinary approach to counterattack violence in our country. This paper proposes a way to analyse/ intervene based on some thesis from psychoanalysis, contemporary philosophy and queer theory. First, the Freudian notion of helplessness is analysed as part of the subjective constitution. This notion will also be related to masculinities as a study field. The second part of the paper, the main theses of the work of Judith Butler are discussed, especially those related to precarious and war. Finally, we discuss a possible intervention with men in armed conflicts. Spirituality is the main aspect of this proposal. In this part of the paper, some thesis of Michel Foucault and Pierre Hadot’s work will be discussed.
