Resumen

RODRIGUEZ-QUEZADA, M. P.. Nursing care perception and task tools management in Chachapoyas hospitals, Peru. Enferm. univ [online]. 2014, vol.11, n.1, pp.03-10. ISSN 2395-8421.

Objective: To compare the task tools management by nursing professionals and the people's perception on nursing care in Cachapoyas district hospitals in Amazonas region, Peru. Methods: comparative descriptive design with 140 hospitalized persons and 25 nursing personnel in two hospitals of the Chachapoyas district. Eighty clinical histories were reviewed to study the nursing process. Nursing professionals were interviewed to measure the quality of care, and patients were also interviewed but to estimate their perception of this care. Results: A fair Nursing Attention Process was found in both hospitals, as well as a low technical and scientific capacity in the nursing staff, but with a good personal interaction. Conclusions: The good interpersonal interaction of the nursing professionals with the people in both hospitals could have influenced to have a regular-good perception regarding the nursing care.
