In this article we describe social class trajectories of families of professionals and executives in Buenos Aires. We made biographical interviews to men and women born between 1965 and 1975 in families where one or both parents were professionals and held hierarchical positions in organizations. We analized the evolution of family and individual patrimony of different capital species (economic, cultural, social, symbolic), as well as the ways of transmission and appropriation of resources for the reproduction or change in class position over time. We found diversity in appropriations of family cultural capital: class reproduction often occurs through different bets than those of the parents.
