The burnout syndrome had effects in the study activity, maybe the stress impairs immune function by releasing pro-inflammatory cytokines, which generate risk of heart disease, osteoporosis and diabetes type 2. This paper describes the relationship between the syndrome and the effects on the immune system. In 279 students of different cycles of degree study, of the School of QFB of FES Zaragoza, were determined nitrite, ceruloplasmin, lipidic peroxidation, C-Reactive protein and cortisol levels. Results. There were an increased in lipidic peroxidation, C Reactive Protein and cortisol levels in medium cycle of study in comparison with basic and terminal ones. Conclusion. Medium cycle had higher levels of indicators of the burnout syndrome than the others cycles.
