Cuba: justicia social, gobernanza e imaginario ciudadano. Presente y futuro de una compleja relación

El trabajo discute la relación entre gobernanza, ciudadanía y justicia social en Cuba a partir de un análisis exhaustivo de la definición del ideal de justicia social presente en el discurso y las prácticas del gobierno cubano desde 1959 hasta hoy, enfatizando en las peculiaridades de cada una de las etapas. Concluye con una mirada a la situación actual a partir de la sucesión del poder en los últimos dos años.

The article discusses the link between governance, citizenship and social justice in Cuba on the basis of an exhaustive analysis of the definition of the ideal of social justice present in the Cuban government's discourse and practices since 1959, emphasizing the peculiarities of each of the stages. It ends with a look at the current situation on the basis of the succession of power over the past two years.

Identidades en la línea: Maquiladoras y figuras de la femineidad en la frontera norte de México

El objetivo de este artículo es ofrecer una interpretación sociocultural de la industrialización maquiladora en la frontera norte de México y sus consecuencias. Se busca explicar la construcción de un sujeto productivo a través de una serie de relatos acerca de la femineidad y la masculinidad que circulan en los lugares de trabajo. Se parte del supuesto de que las identidades de género no son fijas sino cambiantes, no son inteligibles sino sujetas a interpretación y no son dadas socialmente sino construidas por los actores. Con esto se busca mostrar que la globalización está sujeta a la disputa y al conflicto por parte de los actores locales.

The purpose of this article is to provide a socio-cultural intepretation of the industrialization of maquiladoras on Mexico's northern border and its consequences. It seeks to explain the construction of a productive subject through a series of accounts of femininity and masculinity circulating in work places. It is based on the assumption that gender identities are changing rather than fixed, subject to interpretation rather than intelligible and constructed by the actors themselves rather than being socially given. The author thereby attempts to show that globalization is subject to dispute and conflict by local actors.

Formulaciones teórico-conceptuales de la autogestión

El artículo se ocupa de rastrear las principales bases teórico-conceptuales expuestas por diferentes autores y corrientes del pensamiento acerca de la autogestión. Su objetivo es cotejar los fundamentos de un término que si bien ha sido frecuentemente utilizado en las investigaciones sociales de los últimos años, no cuenta con bibliografía teórica suficiente que explicite sus antecedentes y alcances. En tal sentido, este trabajo plantea una serie de debates teóricos y políticos ineludibles a la hora de pensar en los procesos autogestionarios que han surgido como estrategias de resistencia y supervivencia frente al avance del neoliberalismo en Latinoamérica.

The article traces the main theoretical and conceptual bases put forward by various authors and the trends of thought on self-management. Its aim is to compare the bases of a term which, although often used in social research in recent years, lacks sufficient theoretical bibliography to explain its antecedents and scope. In this respect, this study puts forward a series of essential theoretical and political debates for analyzing the self-management processes that have emerged as strategies for resistance and survival in the face of the advance of neoliberalism in Latin America.

Una pasión antirrevolucionaria: el conservadurismo hispanófilo mexicano (1920-1960)

Durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, una parte de la intelectualidad conservadora dirigió una crítica a la revolución desde la perspectiva del legado cultural español. La propaganda franquista que se extendió por América Latina a lo largo de los años cuarenta fue portadora de conceptos y constituyó un soporte material que facilitó la construcción de esta propuesta ideológica. Independientemente de haber sido tachados por el Estado posrevolucionario de antimexicanos y reaccionarios, los hispanófilos logaron articular un modelo social alternativo que fue interiorizado por las clases alta y media.

During the first half of the 20th century, party of the Conservative intelligentsia criticized the revolution from the perspective of the Spanish cultural legacy. The pro-Franco propaganda that spread throughout Latin America in the 1940s was carrying concepts and constituted a material support, facilitating the construction of this ideological proposal. Regardless of the fact that they were branded by the post-revolutionary state as anti-Mexican and reactionary, the His-panophiles managed to create an alternative social model that was interiorized by the upper and middle classes.

Justicia transicional y reparación a las víctimas en Colombia

En este artículo se presenta un dilema típico que surge al aplicar el modelo de justicia transicional como marco normativo que orienta el actual proceso de negociación con los grupos paramilitares en Colombia, que ejemplifica el tipo de requerimientos institucionales que contextualizan y delimitan la validez y viabilidad del enfoque de justicia transicional, especialmente si se pone como objetivo central la reparación integral del daño causado a las víctimas del conflicto armado interno.

This article describes a typical dilemma that occurs as a result of the application of a transitional justice model as a normative framework guiding the current process of negotiation with paramilitary groups in Colombia. It exemplifies the type of institutional requirements that contextualize and delimit the validity and viability of the transitional justice approach, particularly if the central objective is the integral reparation of the damage caused to the victims of the internal armed conflict.
