Revista Veterinaria México

Veterinaria Mexico journal is the main publication medium for scientific research articles carried out in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and from other research and educational institutions of the country and abroad. The objective of this publication is to report the advances in veterinary sciences.

Veterinaria Mexico is a quarterly journal and from its beginning in 1970 it publishes scientific and review articles and short communications.

Veterinaria Mexico was included in the Mexican Journals of Scientific and Technological Research of the National Counsel of Science and Technology (Conacyt) Index, updated in 2002, which evaluation criteria not only refers to the quality of the content, but also to the inclusion of International Indexes and to the periodicity and regularity of the publication.

Veterinaria Mexico is included in the 6 to 13 editions of Artemisa Compact Disk, edited by the Information Center for Decisions in Health of the Public Health National Institute. This data bank contains full text of the articles shown in high quality biomedical journals published in Mexico. Artemisa has a coverage of national and international libraries, as well as private users of pharmaceutical industry laboratories in Mexico.

Likewise, Veterinaria Mexico is integrated to the Mexican Association of Biomedical Journal Editors, A.C., and to the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
