ABOUT THIS JOURNAL

Basic information

Ingeniería Agrícola y Biosistemas (Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering) is a bi-annual journal offering professionals in agricultural and biosystems engineering, both national and foreign, a medium for the publication of previously-unpublished scientific and technological research results. The above means that, without exception, proposals submitted for evaluation for possible eventual publication should not have been published before, except in the form of an abstract in the memory of a scientific congress, nor should they be found in a similar process in another journal. Preliminary, incomplete or inconsequential research papers will also not be accepted. Our journal offers an effective way to publish: scientific papers resulting from original research, review articles, and scientific or technological notes.

All papers must be related to one or more of the following subject areas: environment, automation, construction, energy, geomatics, machinery, simulation and optimization of biosystems, soil, agro-food technology, animal production technology, post-harvest technology and water use in agriculture. Contributions are received through the Editorial Manager tracking system, or by email: inagbi@taurus.chapingo.mx. Manuscripts are examined by a scientific committee and evaluated anonymously by expert peers. Ingeniería Agrícola y Biosistemas is published by the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (Autonomous Chapingo University) twice a year: January-June and July-December.
