INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

 

 

Manuscript and art preparation guidelines

Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl publishes research papers, documentary sources and critical reviews on various aspects of nahuatl culture since pre-Columbian times until today. All submissions must be unpublished and be written in Spanish, Nahuatl, English or French.

The received material will be sent to the Academic Editorial Committee. In some cases, the Committee contacts the author, making suggestions regarding his/her contribution.

Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl will not publish articles that are not a professional contribution to our field of research. All papers should be sent accompanied by a file that includes: a summary of the text in Spanish and English of a maximum of ten lines, a minimum of five key words in Spanish and English, and a short curriculum of the author

Also:

• Manuscripts should be written on Word text processor, double-spaced and in twelve point letters.

• The graphic elements (tables, charts, diagrams, graphs, etc.) should be sent as separate files into editable formats such as Word, Excel or Adobe Illustrator.

• All images (digitized material, photographs, maps, etc.) should be sent to 300 dpi and at least 15 cm (6 in.) wide, in format jpg, pdf or tiff.
